Spring In Miami

By now it’s no secret that my Miami is my favorite U.S. city and one of my favorite cities in the world. There’s something to do for every one and any time of year is great to visit. I recently visited Miami in partnership with Visit Miami for their Spring in Miami campaign. We put together the perfect itinerary for anyone to enjoy Spring in Miami. Where to Stay:

The Sagamore Hotel: Miami’s original art hotel is located at the crossroads of Collins Ave and Lincoln Road. It has one of the largest standard rooms in Miami Beach and you’ll see inspirational art all around the property. I stayed in one of the two story bungalows and it was one of the best rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Book your stay at The Sagamore Hotel here.

Mayfair House Hotel and Garden: Escape the fast paced South Beach and head over to the charming neighborhood of Coconut Grove. This property is perfect for the sophisticated traveler and its warm energy is very authentic to the city of Miami. Not to mention the rooms are very large. Checkout The Mayfair here.

Things to Do:

Treetop Trekking: Located on Jungle Island which is about 15 minutes from South Beach, this activity is perfect for all of my thrill seekers and adventurers. There’s also a huge kiddie area for the mini adventurers. Book your treetop trekking session here.

Paradox Museum : Prepare to have your mind blown at the Paradox Museum in Wynwood. You’ll be able to take photos and videos to have your mind play tricks on you. This experience is loads of fun and I would highly recommend it. Book here.

Museum of Illusions: To step up your photos and have a good time with friends/family stop at this museum. There’s over 40+ photo ops with illusions inspired by cartoons, current events and movies. Finish it off in the ‘Smash It’ room where you blow off some steam by throwing pates against a wall. Check it out here.

Rooftop Cinema Club: A great new way to catch the latest movie without visiting your typical movie theater. I got to watch Black Panther 2 under a gorgeous Miami sunset and had some delicious movie snacks with it. Book your tickets here.

Little Havana Foodie Tour: Little Havana is such an underrated neighborhood with charm, history and culture. Take a tour with Miami Cultural Tours to see why this small area is loved and continues to thrive. Take your Little Havana Foodie tour here.

Wynwood Walls: A trip to Miami is not complete without a photo shoot at Wynwood Walls. This outdoor street art museum has a photo op at every inch. The exhibits change every few months so I always make sure to visit from time to time. You can purchase your tickets in person or online here.

Vizcaya Museum: A huge mansion with 10 acres of gardens and loads of history. Being one of Miami’s most romantic and picturesque locations, you’ll be table to take in art, culture and beauty all in one place. Plan your visit here.

Higher Ground: Pregame at this colorful and cute jungle themed rooftop bar located at the Arlo Hotel in Wynwood. Check it out here

Where To Eat:

Amalia: Located in the The Lennox Hotel in Miami Beach, I had one of my favorite meals here. I recommend the raviolis or the lamb. The brussels sprouts were a great side dish as well.

BakAn: Have some authentic Mexican cuisine in Wynwood in this 6000 square foot indoor outdoor restaurant. It boasts a lively and warm environment with an open view kitchen so customers can watch the way authentic tortillas are made.

Strawberry Moon: A fun indoor outdoor restaurant located at the picturesque Goodtime Hotel. If timing permits, try to check out their live comedy show.

Jaya: Put on your good clothes and have lunch at this beautiful oasis located at The Setai Miami Beach. The ambiance here is very upscale but relaxing at the same time. It menu has a combination of north and south East Asian cuisine with a bit of an American twists. I loved the chicken coconut curry soup and the pad Thai. There is also a great 3 course lunch option for only $30.

MAYAMI Mexicantina: This  10,000 sqare foot indoor / outdoor restaurant stole the show. It features elevated Mexican and American cuisine while taking you back to ancient Mayan Civilization! If you stay until the night hours, you’ll be able to see a burlesque style dane show. @mayamiwynwood

Mayfair Grill: A cafe cultured inspired restaurant in Coconut Grove located at Mayfair House and Garden. There is indoor and outdoor seating
